What is the difference between a Client account and an Agency account?
A Client account is one business editing its own website — €99/month. An Agency account manages several client accounts under one subscription, each with its own users and site access: €249/month for up to three, €499/month for up to ten. The editing product is identical; what changes is how many businesses you run from one login.
What happens when I need more client accounts than my plan includes?
Move up a tier from the billing page and the extra seats are available immediately. Above ten client accounts, email hello@cmschat.ai — we handle larger rosters case by case rather than through a bigger self-serve tier.
Who pays for the AI tokens?
We do. Edits are unlimited on every plan — there is no metered token bill and no overage rate to watch.
Can my clients connect their own AI instead of using your chat?
Yes. Every plan includes the cmschat MCP server, so ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any MCP-capable tool can edit the sites they have access to, under the same guardrails as the built-in chat.
What if I cancel — do I lose my work?
No. CMS Chat works on top of your Git repo, which you own. Every edit is a real commit in that repo. Cancel and your site keeps running, with its history intact.
How do I pay?
Card, monthly, through Stripe. Cancel any time from the billing page; the subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.
